Located in the heart of South Canterbury's Hunter Hills region and near the charming peaceful country town of Waimate, Centre of the South, New Zealand.
Gunns Bush Country Retreat is roughly 220 km from Christchurch and 46 km from Timaru. The drive will take approximately 3 hours (allowing for minimal stops) and the journey enroute offers the visitor a variety of places to stop at including Ashburton, Timaru and Geraldine.
The Retreat itself is 10km inland from the coast and 300metres above sea level.
